Helping Our Community

Mountain View's ministry begins at home, within our own community - whether it takes the form of our yearly involvement in Art in the Park, our community Christmas presentation entitled Walk thru Bethlehem, our monthly food preparation ministry with the Salvation Army, Good Neighbor alliance, involvement with our local Crisis Pregnancy Center and Walk for Life, financial support  for Good News Jail and Prison Ministry, involvement with the Sierra Vista Food Bank or our weekly services in the local convalescent homes. These and many other opportunities are presented for sharing love and support within our local community.

U.S. MISSIONS

Helping Our Country

Strongly supportive of our local military base, Mountain View relishes the opportunity to touch the lives of the military personnel who are short-term residents of our beautiful region.  We also are actively supporting a variety of Home Missionaries whose fruitful ministries are found around our state and country.  These ministries will include, but are not limited to effective, vibrant ministries with Native Americans.  In addition, Mountain View is a strong supporter of Teen Challenge.  We also assist smaller churches who are not yet able to be self-supportive.

Helping Our World

Through praying, giving, and going, our World Missions effort affects people all around the world, sharing the Savior's love and seeing lives permanently changed.  We support numerous missionaries around the globe, who serve as our extension as they share the gospel with a variety of people groups. This support not only includes many of our Assemblies of God missionaries, but also independent, non-denominational ministries, as well as an orphanage in Naco, Mexico.
