WOMEN OF GRACE

Women of Grace is Mountain View Assembly's womens ministry. W.O.G. is for women, to women and by women, in order to strengthen and build up the Body of Christ in our community and beyond. "Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving."  Colossians 2:7

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."  1 Corinthians 15:10

DRAMA MINISTRY

The Arts play a pivotal role in the spreading of the gospel at Mountain View Church. We are thrilled to have an active drama ministry, where talented people can offer their skills for God's use. From dramatic skits to enhance Sunday sermons, to Easter and Fourth of July productions, to the outdoor Christmas community outreach entitled Walk Thru Bethlehem, drama is a large part of our overall evangelistic strategy. It is our desire to minister to the Lord, to His people and to our community through drama.

IRON MEN

The Iron Men ministry at Mountain View Church offers opportunities to meet and fellowship with a great group of men. We attempt to meet a minimum of once a month, breakfasts and evening meetings, so as to accommodate a variety of personal schedules.  Spring Training baseball excursions, home mission projects, work days and a variety of opportunities for fellowship allow men to sharpen each

In addition, expository Bible teaching is offered for adults on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Leadership Training classes, where equipping today's leaders is the focus, are applicable to both the Christian and secular communities and are offered periodically.Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University is also offered periodically. Approximately 100 adults have participated in this much needed teaching series.

WORSHIP TEAMS

Worship is a vital part of the life of Mountain View Church! We desire our lives to model, through our music and worship, the pattern of living that is encouraged throughout scripture. We are blessed to currently have two worship teams, which allows us a variety of styles and methods and does not limit us to a particular worship or music style. It is our desire to reach out and include as many people in participation as possible. We are always open to expanding and adding new members who demonstrate the ability to blend in as a team member, and who possess musical ability and a lifestyle reflective of worship.

VISITATION AND PASTORAL CARE

Our Visitation and Pastoral Care Team regularly visit our guests in order to answer any questions and familiarize them with our growing church. We also desire to express our appreciation for their visit to our church. This team also assists with visits to hospitals and with shut-ins.  Many strong relationships have been a result of a simple visit by a member of this important ministry team.

USHERS AND GREETERS

Our Greeters and Ushers are the first of many friendly people you may meet at Mountain View Assembly. Our Greeters will meet you with a friendly and sincere smile and our Ushers will assist you and help keep you comfortable while visiting with us. We strive to minister to our visitors and friends by caring for their every need. We hope that our reception will radiate the love and care that we sincerely have for you.
